Fashion Advocate has been given the privilege to select international fashion brands for the AMATO COUTURE brand partnership for their D3 initiative.
These are some of our collaboration projects with creative talents in Australia such as Simone Lee Creative, HotPixel, Ae’lkemi by Alvin Fernandez and Brothaboy Events & Clothing, featuring our very own Fashion Advocate Models.
Our Life Skills programme creates a supportive environment that actively empowers women to lead by encouraging mentorship and collaborations, vocalizing their ideas, tuning into their needs whilst balancing a number of responsibilities – skills that are great assets.
Our social entrepreneurship draws upon business techniques to find solutions to social problems, to seek to understand the broader context of an issue that crosses disciplines, fields & theories and to strengthen social and cultural goals.
We were invited to visit Mongolia in 2014 and to co-produce the corporate video for their national carrier MIAT with our Mongolian partner Blue Apple LLC. It was a remarkable exchange of creative with beautiful costumes from their local designers.
These were done for a luxury magazine cover shoot at Dubai Festival City.
We are proud to be associated with the fashion icon Professor Datuk Dr Jimmy Choo OBE and honored to be the guardian of all his education & training initiatives in Australia, New Zealand and Middle East.
Combining creative minds from 9 participating countries, ASEAN Fashion Week 2013 in Maizuru City, Japan truly encapsulated the universal language of fashion and design, featuring the traditional and the modern.
Our team was in charge of the overall management of the event. The models were from the local communities, trained by our international coach. Shows were choreographed by our Japanese and Australian teams at the beautiful Old Brick Museum and on our very own fashion train.
Attended by the President of World Fashion Organization Dr. David Lee and his executive team, the event was celebrated with designers from Sweden, Japan, Myanmar, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Indonesia, Mongolia and Cameroon.
The beautiful people of the amazing city of Surabaya, Indonesia welcomed Asian Fashion Week 2014 and its 14 participating countries from Asia, Latin America, Russia and Australia. We were very honored to welcome the UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Fashion Bibi Russell to speak at our business forum and as the closing show for the event. Special thanks go to House of Sampoerna.
The event achieved tremendous success with a global collaboration between Indonesia, Bolivia and Mexico. It has also built a strong foundation to sustain the development of Asian countries and to preserve our heritage & traditions.
Not just another fashion week, it builds on human relations with all involved in this project; to nurture and inspire our next generation, using fashion as the tool to unify cultures and customs. To change the world, you must take the first step towards the right direction.
